Instructions: Install only on a concrete ceiling or directly under a ceiling joist.
Step 1: Using screws provided, attach the bottom plate to the threaded rod.
Step 2: Screw two longest metal tubes together. Insert the plastic cover over the metal tube assembly.
Step 3: Screw the pole assembly from Step 2 onto the bottom assembly from Step 1. Measure your ceiling height, then refer to the chart to see which extensions, if any, you will need.
Step 4: Using the plastic connectors, connect extensions if needed. Attach top plate by firmly pushing it into the end of pole assembly.
Step 5: Extend the pole by turning it counter clockwise until it's hand tight against the ceiling. Make sure pole is straight and perpendicular to floor; must be at 90 degree angle to floor and ceiling. Adjust pole until it is perfectly straight.
Step 6: Tighten pole using the tool provided. Hold the pole and check to make sure it is steady and doesn't move when firm pressure is applied sideways. Screw lock nut all the way up; tighten with tool until snug. Do not over tighten. Lower bottom assembly cover.
Note: Consult manual for full directions before installing.

Perfect for beginners!

Comments about Spencer's Chrome Stripper Pole:
I bought this pole and when I brought it home I was disappointed. I'd been sold a pole that was returned and missing the instructions, the base, AND bolts. LUCKILY I went back and I was able to enxchange it for a brand new one. I put it together and I'm in love! The instructions are easy to follow but it's definitely a two person job. Once it's up it's sturdy and it does not need to be bolted into the ceiling. I do polefit and I'm around 165lbs. Holds me just fine. My only complaint is that the pole feels a little thicker than standard competition poles (I think). But that's literally my ONLY complaint. Overall it's perfect for anyone just staring out with polefit or just wants one for a little fun. Buy it. You'll love it (just make sure all the parts are there!).

Amazing customer service
I recently purchased a dance pole from Spencers online which got delivered and wasn't up to the standards the product had be advertised about! I emailed Spencer's gifts with details and I've never had such a great expierence and such helpful group to deal with !! They assure me they would send a new product that was garunteed to meet the standard and within a week a receive a brand new dance pole that was 100% better quality then the first!! Will continue to be a returning customer! Thanks again !!!
Good but not a spin pole!
from Newton, NC
The quality of this pole is fairly good and is sitting safely when put up. It's good for learning new tricks but I was expecting it to be a spin pole, and it is not.
from Austin Texas
Bought this product yesterday and works great! Easy assembling and very stable! Only bad thing is that it doesn't spin :(

Great at first ....

About Me Party Planner
Got the pole about a month & a half ago & everything was working perfectly until about 2 days ago. I was spinning on it, when suddenly I felt the middle part of the pole started moving too. After inspecting it further, I realized that it has rusted on the inside. Not sure how this happened, I am assuming it is from the material it was made from ... but now the pole will not come apart at all. Not satisfied with it.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
