Instructions: Install only on a concrete ceiling or directly under a ceiling joist.
Step 1: Using screws provided, attach bottom plate to threaded rod.
Step 2: Screw two longest metal tubes together; make sure tube with label is at bottom.
Step 3: With the U-pin inserted into the base at the stop position, screw pole assembly into bottom assembly. Measure ceiling height to see which extensions, if any, you'll need.
Step 4: Using the plastic connectors, connect extensions as needed. Attach top plate by firmly pushing it into end of the pole assembly.
Step 5: Extend the pole by turning it counter clockwise until it's hand tight against the ceiling. Make sure pole is straight and perpendicular to floor; must be at 90 degree angle to floor and ceiling.
Step 6: Tighten pole using the tool provided. Hold pole and make sure it's steady and doesn't move when firm pressure is applied sideways. Screw lock nut all the way up; tighten with tool until snug. Do not over tighten. Once nut is tightened, remove U-pin to allow pole to spin. Store U-pin by placing in holes marked "Spin."
Note: Consult manual for full directions before installing.

Comments about Spencer's Spinning LED Light-Up Stripper Pole:
I wanted to get into pole dancing for fitness and strength. I purchased this yesterday at my local mall and it seems like it isn't going anywhere. The installation is kind of a two person operation but once I got it up it worked beautifully. I had my best friend, who dances professionally, come and test it out and she loves it just as much as I do.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Sturdy and Fun
I am an experienced pole dancer and I love this pole. Great for my practice, super easy to install, very sturdy. The led lights add a nice flare too. I'm 5'10 and weigh 190lbs and I can easily invert on it.

About Me Party Planner
Bought this as a no-thought tax season purchase. I have 10 foot ceilings and it needs more extensions but I can't find any because it's not a brand name. But I set it up in my back room and don't have a lot of room but I can still climb and do basic things. I love it!

I love it - the other guys are doing somerthing wrong
from San Francisco, CA
I don't know why everyone is having so much trouble. Mine spins fine, very sturdy. I've had it for almost a year now and brought it to parties or worked out around my house. Sure right at first you have to crank it down to get it to stop wobbling but once it's taught it stays that way. There are three different extensions and I've fit it to 8 and 10 ft ceilings. The spinning mechanism is really simple and clever. I dig the LEDs. Put them on top rather than the bottom though is more fun.
I would get this product
It is great to spin on and really cool when the led lights change color it is pretty sturdy also which is great.
As a dancer, I couldn't ask for a better at-home pole! My only complaint is the price
The pole itself is awesome! The instructions, however were not very clear and left some important information out. Once assembled, everything functions as expected.

I couldn't wait to get this home and put it up only to find that it doesn't fit my ceilings AT ALL i was highly dissapointed a heads up on the outside of the box would have been nice .I saw it in store and had to have it, it came with extenders but with them it's way to tall and without it's a small space in between the ceiling and the poles base and nothing can be dobe about it . To pay so much and not even be able to uss it was disappointing, they definitively should print the required ceiling measurements on the outside of the box because mines is pretty standard.

So sad I can't use
So upset got this as a gift a while back finally decided to put it up, when we started setting it up it the screwing part just randomly became completely stuck making it near impossible to get back down after an hour of trying to get it down and multiple people trying to help we finally managed to budge it out of place. So disappointed my boyfriend spent $200 on a gift for me that wasn't even usable... and the store wouldn't even exchange without receipt and said it final sell and there's nothing they can do about it! So irritating and disappointing
Never buying this garbage again. First one broke, figured to give it another try and the same happened. Don't spend money on this.

I would not buy it again.
I bought this at my local mall and put it up exactly as the instructions say. I put it under a ceiling joist and made sure it was at a 90 degree angle. One I put it up it fine and it's fun but I cannot take it down for the life of me. The threaded rod at the bottom is getting stuck on the very bottom long pole. It will not twist or adjust. I had to just know it out of place to take it down which means I cannot get it back up because it doesn't adjust. I took it back to the store to exchange it for a new one thinking maybe the one I had was just faulty but now this one is doing the exact same thing. I absolutely did everything the instructions said I even bought a strap wrench thinking I just had got it too tight and it does not loosen it at all it just spins the entire pole and base plates.

Bought this pole for ladies night and it was not sturdy at all.... as I was tightening it into the ceiling I noticed the rubber suction part in the bottom had came off looked liked it was stuck to it with some cheap glue and the middle where u combine the top and bottom pole kept shifting once the pole was all the way up.... and no I would not recommend no one over 150 to get on this pole... total waste of money!!!

I was so excited to buy this pole and try it out. i put it up once in my kitchen and had to spin on it for an hour to loosen it up which only slightly helped. I took it down for a couple days and it wasn't the easiest to get down. Then I set it up again a couple days later and used it lightly for maybe an hour and when i tried to get it down it was almost impossible. It was absolutely stuck and would not unscrew so I had to leave it up all night and called my friends to come help me the next day. The tool included to loosen the pole actually bent and became useless so we had to go buy a wrench that would fit. With the strength of three men and one with a wrench we finally got it down. After, the pole was scratch up from the tools and the rubber pad on the top had come off completely. I was very disappointed in this small investment.

DO NOT BUY
Bought this pole today and very dissapointed Bearings were shot after first time of use. Went to remove and could not thread the pole down back into the adjuster. Threads are way to fine of a thread pitch and chrome plated so the threads were malled up. If you do buy this pole dont put anyone heavier then 125 pounds on it (recommended max weight is 250) use anti seize on threads that may help so it doesnt seize like mine did.
Guest Services Response:Thanks for your feedback! Our QC team tested this item to ensure its structurally sound. Please use a sturdy frame when setting up. Improper installation could cause damage to the pole, breaking it while in use.
