I bought this for my husband, we did a family "Walking Dead" theme. Like always he was expecting low quality, ill fitting and uncomfortable. He was pleasantly surprised at the fit of the clothing but especially how well the hat fit and the overall quality of the whole costume. The real kicker was when we took the kids trick or treating, adults as well as kids thought he was a real officer!!!! He wore his costume proudly and had lots of fun with it!

I bought this costume for my 13 year old son. He wore it to school that day and trick or treating that night. It was very comfortable and looked great!

I was in the market for a last minute halloween costume (4 days before). I decided that this costume was the one I was going to go for this exact one or a custom made one from the local surplus store. After realizing that I'd probably spend well north of a hundred dollars to put my own together I decided to run by spirit even though they said they were sold out. To my surprise they had many in stock but none a size Medium. So, reluctantly I left and went to a few more stores with little success. Then it hit me Spencer's Gifts in the mall might have one albeit more expensive because its in a mall right? WRONG! It was 50% off at Spencer's and little did I realize Spencer's and Spirit are the same company!! So win for me! Ok so now down to the costume: Shirt runs smaller (I'm 5'7 with a 42" chest and it was still a little small, it is in need of an additional button at the top like another reviewer mentioned, the bottoms are pajama bottoms essentially, I would prefer 100% cotton bottoms with a button of some sort, The belt is flimsy made of soft plastic, the gun holster is way too small to put a fake gun in. The badge isn't a good color almost a very light brown with a tint of gold flakes in it, same goes for the badge on the hat. The hat isn't the right shape but for the price I'm not gonna complain. All in all its a decent costume for the kids or in a pinch but if you have a few weeks you definitely could put together something far more realistic or could even make alterations to the costume.

This uniform looks great and is very complete. You can look like a real cop from a distance. The striped pant are like pajama bottoms, but they look good with the belt on. The patches and the name on the shirt look pretty good. However, there are a few problems. The top button on the shirt is far too low. I had to use a safety pin. There are too few buttons as well (only four). The badge on the shirt isn't quite the right color or the color in the picture online. The holster on the belt is cheesy and tiny. I took it off and put a different holster on it. The hat's bill is a little small and was not exactly shape properly. Given all this, I would still say that this is the best Rick Grimes costume out there for this price range.

I ordered the costume online. My daughter was the bunny slipper zombie and I was Rick Grimes. When I got the package the sheriff hat was not included for some reason. I received the package the day before Halloween so it was too late for a return and too late to look for a new costume. Aside from that, the quality was subpar even with what you already expect from store bought costumes.
