Comments about Spencer's Captain America Adult Womens Costume:
I wore this costume to a house party and then a rave. I got so many compliments on it! I paired it with some brown knee high boots and sparkly shield. This costume isn't extremely short like a lot of woman's costumes now-a-days. The neckline is a little low cut so that the 'girls' are on display. The only issue I had was that after the rave, some of the stitching had broke/come loose so I have a few little repairs to do. But I did do a lot of hardcore dancing and moved a lot, because it is a rave. But overall, LOVEEEE this costume! And I can't wait to wear it next year!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Love this costume!

I LOVE this costume! The Avengers are hot right now, and many of the costumes are corsets or just a little more on the skimpier side than I'd like. This costume is a short sleeve dress, which isn't too short at all! Many costumes are too short these days too, but this one fits perfectly. I'm 5'5" and 115lbs and the small is awesome. The cut in front is just low enough to show some oomph, but not scandalously low either. I would definitely recommend this costume. I'll be wearing mine for a long time now :)
Very good quality

About Me Classic
I liked that it was not too revealing on the front. I am 5'4 however and the dress was way too short for me. It was a smaller fit but I really enjoyed it. Everyone loved my costume and it was unique.

When I went out looking for a decent Captain America costume for a woman, I did not have high hopes. Then I found this costume. It's comfortable, well made and a good blend of cute and sexy. It's perfect for all the Halloween parties and sorority functions I have coming up. I already owned a pair of brown leather lace up boots that happened to go perfectly with the costume so that was a bonus. My only complaint was the mask was a little cheap looking but for the quality of the rest of the costume, I can't complain. I am 5'5, 160 lbs and I bought a large.
Cute, comfortable and fits great

Purchased this costume to match my 3 year old who is trick or treating as captain America, thought it would be fun to match him, this costume is a good fit, comfortable The head piece little cheap but I love that the back of the dress has a zipper and not cheap Velcro, I purchased a shield to go with it, and red go go boots since I really don't see going around with my kids in heels. Overall costume is great I bought a small im 5'4 and 130lbs
Super short and low cut
By Capt. not appropriate
This was cute but so short it barely covered my butt cheeks. The top part was very low cut and there is odd padding that looks weird. I haven't worn it yet since it was too inappropriate for the reason I bought it so I can't comment on quality. For the price I expected more but it was the style that I liked over the more classic captain America look.

Cute, Comfortable, but Feels Cheap
About Me Classic, Conservative
I'm normally a size 0-2, and this costume didn't come in an extra small. The small is a size 4-6 so the waist was a little baggy and the belt was extremely loose. I think the belt is a one size fit all because there is an elastic band in the back. The belt was made of cheap/thin pleather so I was able to sew it together easily to get a tighter fit.The dress itself was made of a thin material and because the star on the chest had sharp edges, it dug itself into the fabric and created a hole by the end of the night.Despite all that, I thought the costume was extremely cute and comfortable. The utility belt held my credit cards, id and lipstick so no hand bag was needed. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that you would probably get at most 1-2 wears out of it.
Damaged Goods :/

Well, I like the overall design and feel of the costume, and it looks super cute (although the skirt is a little short) However when I took mine out of the package, it was ripped on the bodice. It would take too long to send it back for a replacement (if they'd even give me one), but when I paid $50 bucks for a costume, I expected it to be undamaged...
Cute, but not the best quality

I love the dress part of the costume! I'm tiny and a lot of Halloween costumes don't fit me because they're too big, even the small, so I usually make my own costumes. However, I love that this one has an elastic waistband, because it fits around my waist perfectly! And I love the zipper instead of the cheap velcro that most other costumes have. It's not the highest quality, and I've only tried it on twice since I got it, when I noticed that the skirt is already separating from the waistband, so I'll have to fix that before I wear it for Halloween. The only thing I was disappointed in was the mask and the belt. The mask was literally a craft foam cutout with some of the dress' fabric (probably just leftover fabric) slapped onto it. And not even neatly, the edges are all jagged and a lot of the white foam underneath is showing. The belt was made of a cheap pleather, and was sewn all wrong, so now it's permanently twisted unless I undo the seams and fix it myself. This is a really cute dress, but be prepared for it to fall apart, and for cheap quality accessories!
quality way too poor for $60
This costume is super cute, but is really poorly made. The seam where the red and white part of the bodice meets the skirt was sewed with way to small of a seam allowance, and pulled apart within 2 minutes of wearing it. I managed to sew it back together with a larger overlap and it appears to hold up okay, but for $60, I shouldn't have to repair a poorly crafted costume.
About Me Adventurous
For the amount of money I paid for this I expected a quality product but what I got was no good. It arrived dirty, with a hole in the seam and with a bunch of strings hanging off it everywhere! Also the star on the chest was bent and is wont straighten out. The costume looks horrible... I just hope I can salvage it.
Extremely Poor Quality

Wore this twice to Halloween parties, did some dancing, and when I got home after Party #1, found two huge holes in the costume around the vinyl on the bodice. Sewed them up, and after Party #2 had EIGHT additional holes and some popped stitches. The tights I wore underneath (because the skirt is pretty darned short and the costume rides up) held up better than the costume I spent $60 on. Very dissatisfied.
