Instructions: Do not use with a temporary or suspended ceiling. Can be positioned anywhere on a concrete ceiling. If you have plasterboard or drywall ceiling, position pole directly under a ceiling joist.

Step 1: Measure height from floor to ceiling.

Step 2: Position base plate on flat surface of the floor; insert bottom pole piece into base plate by aligning the slots. Make sure screw thread is at its lowest level.

Step 3: Turn top plastic ring up so pin can be inserted onto the top piece, then bottom plastic ring can go onto bottom base plate.

Step 4: Turn the nuts up and down to tighten to the top and bottom plastic rings.

Step 5: Using spanner tool, tighten top and bottom nuts.

Step 6: To release the pole down, loosen the top and bottom nuts.

Step 7: Insert top section into ceiling plate by pressing the two side pins found on the ceiling plate. Turn top pole section until the two pins lock down the top pole section.

Step 8 and 9: Connect top, middle and bottom pole pieces together.

Step 10: With assistance, hold the Dance Pole in an upright position between the floor and ceiling. Refer to your pencil mark for positioning.

Step 11: While assistant holds the pole, step back and ensure pole is perfectly upright.

Step 12: Adjust height of the entire pole by spinning the pole until it extends all the way to the ceiling. Tighten the pole.

Step 13: Make sure the pole will not slip from its position by applying force from side to side.

Step 14: Gently grab uppermost section of dance pole, slowly apply successively greater and greater weight until your entire body hangs from this section of the pole. If there is any movement, loosen the bolts and return to lengthening the screwhead.
