These are actually quite good. One thing you may have to do is glue the hard plastic spider halves together as they are just press fitted with plastic pins, or you could just mismatch the halves for a multi color spider. They can come apart easily. If they get blown by wind and get bumped around they may come apart as well. The spider lights are clear and the main lights are purple. You could use the spider covers on any pen light set if you wanted. The down side is there is only one spare bulb. One set I got had a clear bulb and an extra spider where is shouldn't have been. So I used the only spare purple bulb and have a spare spider just in case.
