This Lava Lamp is the perfect combination of multi-colored and modern. The glass is painted purple, green, and orange to give the illusion that the wax is changing colors, and the base is clear to give you a better view of the wax. With a white stand and cap, as well as the on/off switch right on the base, this Multicolored Lava Lamp will give a modern (and fun!) touch to any room or party.

I was disappointed in this lava lamp
from North East Ohio
I am a lava lamp lover owning 4 others. One is over 35 years old and still working wonderfully. This one looked nice on the web site and in person when I received it. Problem is it doesn't bubble like it is suppose to. It takes about 3 hours to heat up. It has three stages. For the first 3 hours it is a blob on the bottom. Then for the next 6 hours or so it is one long column from bottom to top. Then the last stage is all the wax sits at the top. I followed all the tips even online and still the same. It is cost prohibitive for me to pay return shipping and send it back and I can't get to a store to return it so I have a lamp that just blobs in three stages and doesn't bubble. I have included pictures of the three stages.

Guest Services Response:Thanks for leaving your feedback about our Multi Color Lava Lamp. We're sorry to hear of the issues you're experiencing trying to get your lava to flow properly. When first setting up the lamp its important to allow the item to come up to room temperature(approx 8 hours) before starting up the lamp if you see any cloudiness. We then advise running the lamp between 8-10 additional hours to allow the wax to heat up properly and provide the flow you're expecting.
