Using this as a Freshman in high School is great. It's a great way to show that you have weird sense in bags, and not just your normal North face book bags, or purses that girls wear -_-. Very stylish. A lot of guys comment on its type of style, and I love it. This was a great gift.

I bought this backpack my junior year of high school and it's lasted me all the way through college as a traveling locker, hiking backpack and occasional purse. The canvas is durable, and the only place it split after 6 years was at the seams on the bottom. The velcro sort of went out around the first year, but it still sticks enough to carry lipstick in the pockets. If you can fit what you're carrying in there, it will hold it as long as you can. Best bag I've ever owned.

I bought this because its style seemed great. The black part at the top where the cord runs through started to fray early on. It's super sturdy, just not at the top. The velcro was a disappointment since it doesn't really stick. There are only the two pockets on the outside :( Not good for travel because if you lay it on its back, the top flap opens
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
It's pretty nice

I really like the bag, but I don't like the medical cross design on the front. Mine's a little older (a couple years) so the "buckles" are just for show, all the pockets close with velcro. The two front pockets are just big enough to hold a 30 pack of regular band-aids each and are closed by straps with velcro squares on the end. The main pocket has a draw string under the flap and is big enough to fit an adult human head and neck, plus some ice, and has a strip of velcro under the edge of the flap. It's a pretty useful bag if you don't plan on carrying a lot. I would buy again if it didn't have the cross on it. Currently trying to remove it.

The Velcro squares that close the top aren't sowed in strong enough,I had to resow them in a week after use it but otherwise its a wonderful bag with lots of room for my school supplies, plenty of pockets & very stylish
