About Me High-end Shopper
I love this guy! He's so great and he's really scary! And I don't get why people had a hard time putting it together, because I put it together easily and I'm a 13 year old girl. I don't know, maybe they didn't read the instructions right. But this product works really well! It's sensitive, realistic (especially in the dark), loud, SUPER creepy, and such a surprise!! It scared my whole family, so I bet I could scare my friends :) I'm using it outside in front of the "graveyard" with some other scary decorations and I'll blend it in with logs and pumpkins. This is definitely a great addition to my Halloween party :)(PS if you're using it indoors, I recommend using foam to cover the speakers!)

The sound is nice and loud so it gives a great effect outdoors. It was fairly easy to put together. Best animated Halloween prop I have ever purchased. Everyone loves it!!!

My No.1 Prop from last year!
By Victoria The Wicked
from New York, NY
Highly recommended! This was the centerpiece of my graveyard scene at my halloween party last year and I couldn't stop laughing from all the guests he scared throughout the night. I hid him with only the jack o' lantern peering out. It scared the hell out of all my party guests. The sound activation is wonderfully sensitive - so anyone who gets within 1-2 feet of him gets a good scare and the scary sound and voice is loud enough for all in the room to hear. The only problem is that he takes up a lot of battery juice and any sound pretty much sets him off. I highly recommend getting the plug adapter and the footpad activator that goes with him - otherwise you will have to change his battery at least two or three times during the night.

About Me Budget Shopper
I recomend this to anyone wanting to pull of a haunted house, my only concern is that its battery powered. and a little to loud. but it is worth it! :D
from Southcentral Pa
This prop is awesome! It sets up pretty easily with the directions. The first time I tried it, the dog ran out of the room and the cats scattered. A bit loud for indoors but put a piece of foam over the opening and it works much better. For outdoors, I would definately bring in at night or if it rains. Keeping it out of the weather is my suggestion. But all in all, its a great prop for the price and I can't wait to scare all my party guests and trick or treaters. Well worth the money and would highly recommend it. Happy Halloween everyone!!
More than I expected!!
I love this grim reaper with pumpkin. It was more than I ever expected. With the lights out, he is one creepy guy. The voice is a bit loud for indoors but if you put a piece of foam over the box, it is fine. Outdoors, it will be perfect. You really can't go wrong for the price. I'm sure I will scare some unsuspecting trick or treaters this year. My dog sure did exit the room the first time he heard it and 2 of my cats had BIG eyes. I would certainly tell people to buy it. I will also not hesitate to buy other creatures from here too. Happy Halloween everyone!!
Hit of the night......mixed it in with several other pumpkins... was a hit!
This is the best product EVER!!! Buy it on sale...It is loud & his eyes pumpkin light up!!! Its AWESOME!!

This is a great prop! I can't wait to use him this Halloween because I know he will scare everyone! He's a little wobbley so I suggest you use a weight to hold him down. I like that he is loud so you can hear him clearly. Go buy one! He's awesome!
It's a Fantastic animated Prop
I think that this prop is one of the BEST props that i've bought so far!!!

Totally cool prop and very inexpensive. Easy assembly and good instructions. It'll be a cool addition to my yard this Halloween. Highly recommended but they sell out fast.
Tape it down to a 4 foot tall box!!!
from San Diego, CA
I took the pumpkin OFF. I wrapped coat hanger wire around what was already there to extend his arm's length and shape into looking like he was going to grab you when you walked by... i threw a big black light weight fabric on over his head and it drapped and puddled onto the ground to cover all of him. I tapped his base with base legs down onto the 4 foot tall-ish cardboard box that i got with my order and weighed it down with a few bricks inside. As he rises up he tends to REALLY lean in towards you standing infront of him, so it SERIOUSLY looks like he's going to grab you. You can still see his eyes thru the cloth i threw on over him. TIP: IF he's too loud for you (or ANY of these things) you can glue or use fabric to cover the sound speaker identified as slits/slots where the sound comes out of. That works well to quiet it down. [*], I hid this guy on my pathway out front in the shadows and if kids were too loud it would go off - -, Only 1 girl screamed but that night this rising reaper had a WHOLE BUNCH of OMG!!!'s being thrown at it. TOTALLY fun =] WORTH IT!!!! I also bought the bubble fogger..every1 luved that! =]
Very nice prop. Easy assembly. This would be well placed right by the front door to give the trick or treaters a startle. It rises up to a good height- nice and tall. A unique prop and a worthy addition.

I got this product for Christmas and at first the motor just span until my grandpa fixed it! I was happy he got to fix it but i was disappointed it was broke out of the box BRAND NEW! But i gave it a 4 star because its one of my favorites and we fixed it... I look forward using it next eat
Need to add a brick to keep it standing other than that good and spookie"
definitely a cool item
from Dexter, Iowa
this is an awesome product the only reason i am not giving it a 5 star rating is because it is poorly made for the money. The shoulders are bendable wire and you have to get them just right for it not to fall over and work properly also the hood was sewn on twisted so it would not hang properly i had to remove the hood from the forehead and untwist the fabric and straighten the wire to get it to look right but after that was done it was good. I have a similar less expensive item that is more durable.I would only recommend this product to a friend with caution.
from Pottsville, PA
Easy to put together but some of the pieces were put together at the factory wrong so I had to modify them to make the prop work correctly.

VERY Good Prop... Scary and Spooky!
By Andrew jones
from New Jersey, USA
I got one last year (2010) and i am getting ANOTHER one!!!! i love it and hope to have it for a while.
great prop, when used along other props
from Mississauga, Ont
Overall great prop, but the plastic posts are very fragile. In simply moving it around, the main plastic post twisted out and one of the flanges broke. This is a new prop for me and I hate it when things break too easily. It still works, but it needs to be handled like a crystal vase to avoid breakage...
Much better than picture presented here!
By Nim's spook
from Montreal Que
If you think he is cute in the picture , he is not ! He looks scary , and I love that about him ! The skull looks real and my kids were spooked out . I can't wait for Halloween to scare the kids ! The only reason I gave this product a 4 star is because my husband had taken time to assemble the small pieces . Once he started to work , the slightest sound sets him off ...OOOOHHH!
