My husband likes only scary Halloween decorations. No cutesy stuff. This is life like, scary (not too - just right) and perfect to add to his Halloween decorations. He loved it.

About Me Budget Shopper
The lunging reaper is a great prop for any occasions.I love everything thing about this prop, but the only thing is the pole is kind of loose. Maybe I set him up wrong or something. Anyway he's a great prop.

This prop is perfect for my house this Halloween season. I love how its interactive and its sayings are spooky and comical at the same time. My only complaint is that the scythe slips on every other run and requires constant evaluation. It's also a little pricey but it's worth every dollar. In conclusion, best decoration I've ever bought.
I like it a lot . It will be the centerpiece of my Cemetery this year. I ordered a Ripping Reaper of Souks from Spirit last year but didn't open and check it out until a couple months later when I set it up for Halloween and it didn't work properly.....too late to return it.Learning from that bitter lesson, as soon as it came I opened the box, set it up, and tried it to make sure it worked properly. This one worked just fine.
Great addition to our basement Haunted Maze!
from Boston, MA
This was a fantastic addition to our Halloween Haunted Maze. Assembly was pretty easy, just followed the instructions. The four spoken phrases are good enough so that our guests/victims didn't hear the same ones unless they went through multiple times (which, of course, they did!).The lunging motion causes the scythe to shake briefly in an "artificial-looking" manner; but that's impossible to prevent unless you spend big money or work in Stan Winston's Studio.Very happy with this purchase!
great center piece in my graveyard
from Federal Way Washington
the Lunging Reaper was quite awesome addition to my graveyard but very expensive, and a little bit hard to put together, my face on mine was a little squished but was able to make it look right, the reaper's pole in his hand was pretty flimsy, every 4 to 6 time the reaper would lung the pole would come apart,it would also make a mechanical sound when it lunged forward. but all in all it did its job good by scaring the kids. LOL
Fear the reaper
from Peekskill, NY
Used it in my backyard haunted cemetery in a dimly lit area. Cool prop, good sensor/audio, just enough lunging movement to get some of the unsuspecting folks noticeably flinching a bit.
Had a bit of trouble keeping the hand on the pole of the sickle but was a good looking product and the performance was good
