Prop not perfect, but excellent customer service

About Me High-end Shopper
When I got the original prop everything worked except the mouth. Got ahold of "Dr. Zombie" on the Spirit website. They listened to my complaint and after it was found the prop could not be fixed, I sent the old one back (freight pre paid) and got a new one. I'm giving 5 stars because of the excellent customer service.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
This product is amazing and I got exactly what I expected and even more.

Great prop! You always have new products. I LOVE SPIRIT!
from Newark, Delaware
Prop was easy to put together. I used it for my Halloween party, Halloween night and I have it displayed in my man cave now. Others I have enjoyed in the past Wicked Witch, Michael Myers,, Frankenstein, Jumping Spiders, Harvestor and many many more. Looking forward to next season already.

This blew my mind when I saw it, and I couldn't wait for the season. I got it and set it up ASAP. he was a bit difficult to set up but it's worth it. However I is very delicate and I don't recommend taking it apart.

Awesome pop-up Zombie
from San Diego, CA.
About Me Classic
Video does not do it justice. When our pops up, it comes fully out of the barrel. (Bottom of shirt to top of the barrel.) No need for a foot pad, both light sensor, and noise sets it easily off, but not overall too sensitive. Great product.

This is by far one of my favorite products from Spirit-it is very cool, works great and I cant wait to debut it at my halloween party this year!I have a feeling this item will sell out once people see it in the stores-too bad Spirit didnt have a cowboy/ western zombie theme to go along with this whiskey barrel zombie! That would be great fun!

About Me It Is An Extremely Good
This is one of the best Halloween props I have ever purchased from spirit Halloween I love this prop and is a good prop for scaring and is good for a starter prop(;
I would buy it again
Love it. However, a part broke after an hour. Spencer's was great and sent me a replacement zombie. This one is working great.
Would not need to as it will be used over again, yearly.
In our haunted house. The animation was great and the pop up surprise worked well. Instructions were a little difficult to follow which made set up a little confusing. Also aiming the sensor was confusing. Liked the product but would have liked more concise instructions.
Can't wait to use every year get lots of visitors !!
from Van Nuys
Easy to assemble as well as well put away.place any were to get a rise out of any tricker treaters.
did it's job
from Scotia NY
It was a bit harder to put together then the others. The barrel could use more support for firmness, The pop up action was fast and scared the kids which is what I was hoping for.. worked well
Scared the kids for sure
from Novato, Ca
Clearly like most halloween electronic monsters these things are not built to last more than 1-2 season then they die. Cheaply made Chinese products which keep going up in prices each year. This one for sure looked great once we got it set up and working in our haunted garage. The kids turned the corner and that activated the motion sensor which made the creature pop up. Kids liked it. Decent scream factor.
Another Review Update!
from Litiz, PA
I just wanted to update the product's review. But weeks after I got it fixed, it stopped popping up again. The Pop Up Mechanism for the module is cheaply made. The Accordion/Scissor mechanic is supported with a rope and a metal spring (That is removeable). Yes, I'm serious. For a Y.J. Product, the quality for the pop-up mechanism could be better, but overall, the prop is superb. The good thing is, there is a way to fix the module from not popping up: What I do is I disassemble the Zombie and place the module upward. Then, I oil up the interior of the module, Place the spring upside down and exercise the rope and test it six times before assembling again. I'm giving this guy a 9.10/10. The Pop-Up Mechanism is cheaply made and is prone to malfunctioning, but the prop itself is superb.
Good, but does not pop up.
I ordered Moonshine Barrel Zombie with a 20% coupon, and received him in the mail three Days later. His setup is somewhat difficult. He makes sound, his eyes light up and his mouth moves. However, he does not pop up. I am not sure why this is. Since he cannot pop up, although he does work nonetheless, I'm giving him a 9/10. I would recommend it, but for some reason, mine does not pop up.
i would buy again
used it in the driveway and worked great. needs a little tweeking with top of barrel to stay up
Delay Pop up
from Waterbury CT
This product is okay... It is very delicate indeed. Mouth only works like 3-5 times for me... This year Spirit had one on display and they let me put it in my truck lol.. also the pop up isn't that great either... it's kind of slow and it makes a weird pop noise when it hits the top.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Like it for the most part 1 design flaw
So far it seems to be a great product. Will have to see how it runs for a few hours. The only thing I do not like about it is the top part of the barrel. It doesn't fasten in anyway I can tell. The instructions do not show or explain this part very well. It needs to have a clip or something to hold it in place. Everytime the zombie pops up, it slowly falls out of place. Thought the original price was a little too high, but the construction is also more complex than I thought it would be. It looks more sturdy so I think that part makes it worth it.
Not what expected
By Halloween is awesome
About Me Budget Shopper
Love the idea of this but the actual structure is flimsy. Barry top tends to fall every time zombie pops up. We added velcro to keep it up and works ok. Had a lot of fun scaring people after we made the adjustment.
Got him but he had some issues!
By Logan Esclavon
from Edgewater, FL
I just got him but he breaks easy! His string broke to make him pop up, The mouth stopped working, And his speaker went out for some reason? And he is hard to set up and take down! But he is a cool prop but i have a few problems with him.
from Wayne NJ
Its an awesome props I love it its just to overpriced
Ok. Would not be happy if paid full price
Too slow popping up.needs to be faster.
We used it outside. Wish the zombie would come up faster than what he did. Setting it up was a little confusing and the poles to attach to the top of barrel don't have a slot to fit in so you had to stuff them on the edge. Also the speaker for the sound he makes was set up in the back of the barrel which i thought should of been facing the front because it wasnt that loud
from Jacksonville, FL
The zombie pops up properly but the audio does not work. I have triple checked all of the wires and still nothing. His mouth moves but there is no sound. Very disappointing. He was purchased last year for a specific scene this year and we never even got to successfully use him once.
