About Me High-end Shopper
Comments about Spencer's 21 in Possessed Baby Animatronics - Decorations:
This Possesed Baby Animatronic is truly amazing. I purchased one the day one of my local Spirit stores opened in August of last year. It was perfect because I had missed out the previous year. Worked absolutely perfect but unfortunately it no longer worked at the beginning of this season when it was pulled out. I truly hope Spirit Halloween considers bringing this item back for 2019. I have a sister n law and two friends (not counting the countless people who have asked me where I got it) who want to purchase this and I would absolutely love the opportunity to purchase another. These types of Animatronics appear to be extremely popular especially with Spirit and Seasonal Visions International producing more and more haunted playground Animatronics I believe this would be wildly popular on a re stock.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The Halloween Prop to End All Halloween Props!!

About Me Midrange Shopper
We LOVE this prop! It's so much fun because it has two buttons on the handle...one button that makes a crying baby noise and attracts people to come closer and then another button that causes the zombie baby to jump up and scream and scare the wits out of everyone! We have used this prop inside during our Halloween parties and outside on Halloween night...everyone gets such a kick out of it!!
Best prop I got last year!

This was my big ticket item last year. However the first one I got the sound box wires came out...so no sound. Spirit sent me a new one no problem post haste. Second one worked like a charm! They said keep the first one even! Seriously?! Every girl from 8 to adult(but especially the teenage ) screamed every time we did the tour! It's my 16th year as a haunted house and this was the big winner last year!!!! Spirit is always my goto store every year!

I was a little hesitant to buy this. I wasn't sure of quality. It's not too bad. It's not as cheap construction as some of the earlier props I have purchased in the past. The box did look like it was opened and taped back up. I carefully checked the contents. All was good, except for the zip tie that held the jumping mech down. It was broken, but easily replaceable. The rest of it worked as it should. It's fun to watch and it'll be a great Halloween scare.
Is the baby really possessed!!!
from Louisville, KY
I had a very old baby stroller that needed a creepy baby and this guy was perfect. While the original baby buggy it comes with is nice I took it to a different level. This guy scared so many kids and adults at our haunted yard this year. The sound effects are prefect to draw victims with cute giggles and the srings up scaring everyone.
Bundle of joy!

Baby Boris arrived at our home and immediately fit in with the rest of the family. He coos when content and lying down, but has a bit of a temper when agitated. This is one of the best props we have purchased, as everyone wants to see a baby, but nobody expects it to lunge forward!

Extreme High Quality

This is my review on the possessed baby, The set up was difficult and you need 2 people to set it up.It does work as a stroller which is cool but it says it takes up lots of batteries and its recommended to use an adapter which isn't included, the mouth is a bit delicate as so as the lights that strobe in the front are tooIt pops up fast enough to scare someone and I really like how loud it can be and how the hood of the stroller drops tooOverall 5/5

I have a retail doll business and am also a doll collector. I have a large collection of Halloween items from Spirit of Halloween, many of which are on display year round. Children and adults love this item. I might add that the first one I ordered was damaged in shipping, and they replaced it immediately. Their customer service is great!

This prop is great for Halloween or any occasion if you are a prankster. The problem I had was it was an online exclusive. Took a while to get here because of the size and it was broken. The hood on the carriage was smashed and did not work. I took it back to the Spirit store nearby. I would have ordered another one but since it took so long to get here I decided otherwise. I wanted to use it while passing out Halloween party invitations but could not wait for a new one. Will purchase another one for next year because it is a fabulous prop if in proper working order.

Ok I received this yesterday and assembled this thing myself. It took some muscle but you can't go wrong assembling this thing. Very loud, thank goodness for volume control. My dog was scared out of its wits. Everyone who has seen my video of this thinks its creepy. I'm loving it. I didn't know what to expect but I am glad it didn't disappoint. You won't either. So what are you waiting on...order now!

Best prop of the year!
from Yonkers, NY
When I opened the box I was excited to find that the carriage is made of metal and much bigger than I had thought. The wheels snap on the 2 side frames, there are 2 crossbars, the handel bar, and the carriage base with the baby inside. Not a lot of parts, but it took some work to line up the snap pins to get the carriage to attach to the frame. If you don't have an SUV and you plan to drive with it to a party, plan on taking it apart.I wasn't thrilled with the baby's face until I turned the prop on. It's mouth moves and it's head turns. The sound effects are excellent. The remote and the handle bar each have 2 buttons: the first is happy baby gurgling noises, the second causes the baby to sit up and the bonnet snap down while 2 LEDs at the end of the carriage flash as the baby screams and then evil laughs as it slowly lies back down and the bonnet rises as you hear the baby say bye-bye. It also has a motion sensor mode where the baby with gurgle for a little and then sit up.It is a great startle effect and funny as well. People jump then walk away laughing! I love it! Best prop of the year!
I would buy this product again and agin

A must for Halloween fanatics
from Cypress, Tx.
Stroller looked better than expected. "Baby blanket" looked unrealistic so I added my own. Handle controls worked well but were easily triggered by accident at the most inconvenient times. Remote arrived broken and I called twice for replacement but neverreceived any response. So far have not neefed it but may want it in the future. As to battery life and durability, we used the Baby all weekend at a theme park Halloween event and then trick or treating, and it never failed to work and batteries lasted the entire time. The responses were priceless...everything from almost fainting to screaming to falling down. Can't wait for next year.

GREAT PROP, LOVE THE REMOTE,LOOKS CREEPY. MY VOLUME CONTROL DOESN,T WORK PROPERLY. YOU CAN HEAR THE BABY CRY OUT BUT NO MATTER HOW YOU TURN THE CONTROL IT STAYS THE SAME, BUT THE GOOD PEOPLE AT SPIRIT CUSTOMER SERVICE TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM. THEY ALWAYS DO, THEY ARE # 1 IN MY BOOK

Should be a little Less Wide. To hard to fit in small doorways etc.A little fragile but they made good by replacing all broken parts.

I have a huge doll collection of all kinds. I also am a doll artist. This is a great prop added to The Dollhouse! More sturdy then I thought, really awesome baby and stroller! I plan on touching up the baby's paintjob to make him a bit more realistic but overall I am pleased with this Possessed Baby!
Possessed Baby Scary Fun
from Castro Valley
Walked through shopping areas with a 3 year old. One sound makes them come to you then the other button scars the HECK out of them.
I wanted it to add to my halloween collection. I think it would be a great addition to my display. I think the carriage could be a little more sturdy and I think the hood should be on the other side.

Possessed Baby a "Hit" and "Miss" Prop
By SO CAL
from San Diego
Pros: Overall "Possessed Baby" has to be one of the best animatronic props to come around in while. Halloween junkies will love it. The "Possessed Baby" was relatively easy to assemble and is very realistic. The "Possessed Baby" talks and even says "mama" and "daddy." The remote is truly a great addition to really scare your guests. Cons: However, after a couple of uses the volume (audio) ceased to work and a screw came flying off when the carriage canopy came down. I hope this is only an issue with this particular baby and not all will have this issue. Because it is really a great addition a Halloween collection. Kudos to Jessica at the Spirit Store in San Diego she is doing her best to get me a replacement. Since only one Spirit store, in a 80 mile radius, even had one in stock.

i did the baby in the carg two years ago halloween spirit a little late in putting it out. it went over very well scared alot of people.
(0 of 1 customers found this review helpful)
I received it broken but Spirit sent me another within a reasonable amount of time. The prop really doesn't scare as many people as I would of thought. I would say out of 10 people probably about 5 people would be startled enough to get a laugh out of it. I think it's because the prop doesn't invade a persons personal space when triggered, just sits up in the carriage. When a person is curious and starts to look into the carriage then of course it startles them. I also have the jumping spider which launches at a person, that has a 100% startle rate!I think if the baby somehow jumped a little bit out of the carriage and forward(like the jumping spider) then it might get the same reaction as the spider. So maybe I am unfairly comparing the two but at the price point of the baby just doesn't seem worth it for a 50% startle rate, just my 2 cents
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me Budget Shopper
I was so excited to buy this product. I had to open 4 boxes and put it together with the manager of the store before we found one that was fully functionable. This was after I had already purchased one brought it home and found it was broken. I couldn't wait to use it on Halloween but when I did the carriage immediately broke. The baby still worked so I was going to walk it down the street but the wheels kept coming off one at a time. I was going to set it by itself and use the controller but you can't use the controller from far away and it has to be directly in front of it pointing at it no surprise there. If it was made better it would be a great product that really scares people but it's so low quality I was so disappointed. It was a stretch for me to spend that much on an animatronic and I won't do it again.
