Comments about Spencer's No Smear White Makeup:

I wanted to use this for a goth costume one year. I couldn't get it on my face without smearing off. It doesn't stay on and its poor quality.

Comments about Spencer's No Smear White Makeup:

I attempted to use this straight out of the package for a Day of the Dead Skull makeup, and it was extremely difficult. Not exactly "a dream to apply". I first used a makeup wedge to apply in numerous thin layers, however, when the product dries, as it does so rapidly, the layer below would flake off and areas with thicker coverage would crack as my expression changed. Too much of this makeup also caused a burning sensation in areas with large pores, and smelled of alcohol (probably the glycerin). You can't open up the package and expect to use it as-is.

This product is removed not only with mild soap and water, but also facial movement, and it can be scraped off with your fingernails or rubbed off with your palms. So if you use this product and have an itch, don't scratch it.

HOWEVER: A customer provided a tip to mix it with a pale foundation and use translucent powder to set, and a response from Spirit recommended mixing it with water. I have yet to try either of those, so I will give it a shot, but this stuff isn't very good if you're looking for a last-minute makeup and don't look at reviews for it beforehand.
