This pole is cheap not strong at all I didnt screw it in & I flew off with the pole, I screwed it in & it in and my ceiling is coming down! Its slippery and a waste of money!

Installed this pole in the bedroom on carpet without screwing it into the ceiling, and it was too wobbly. Tried to install it on tile without screwing it into the ceiling, and it was very sturdy with both feet off the ground. I weigh 170 lbs, the only huge negatives about this pole is ..ITS TOO THICK AND SLIPPERY! You might as well spin on a traffic light pole with baby oil on it. Very hard to grip, and hard to stay on because its so slippery even with dry hands.

I have had this pole twice without screwing it into the ceiling and it never came down i did tricks on it and me and my cousin got on it together , very sturdy didnt not come down did not bust my butt it was great

The pole is not sturdy at all. The bottom of the pole keeps slipping. Everytime I tried to use it the pole would slip and I would fall.

Had it up for 20 mintues and it fell down spent close to two hundreds dollars would buy it again i guess u can try screwing it in to the celing but people that cant screw it in the celing that live in a aparment i wouldnt recamed it to anyone

This pole is too thick and i almost busted my butt. i should have bought and x pole..when you spin on the electra pole it comes loose. its dangerous. i bought one a few weeks ago and i know a few pole tricks and it still wasnt stable enough for me to do the tricks that i like to do for example on a club pole. i had to keep stopping and strewing the bottom back together. dont buy that pole it is cheap but if u dont have enough money to buy an mynx or a x pole save your money until youget up enough to get a more expensive and valuable one.

I bought this pole because I thought it would be an inexpensive alternative to the professional poles. Boy, was I wrong! The diameter of this pole is too large for comfortable gripping. The loaded springs are too weak to support any size adult. (My cousin is 4'11 and barely 100lbs and this still fell over with her on it.) IF you want to learn actual pole dancing or are an actual pole dancer invest in a professional X-Pole. I had to bolt this into the ceiling to keep it from falling over. IF you want it as a prop for some fun with him or her then this will suffice. As long as you don't put any weight on it. I used it one time then got rid of it.

The Carmen Electrapole is not the pole you want to buy if you are serious about pole dancing. The pole is sturdier than it was previously (because now it bolts into the ceiling), but still bows out when doing spins which is kind of scary. This is because the pole is made from 3 pieces of pipe that are screwed together. The bottom part is made from plastic, and this is where you set the pole from static to spinning. The directions say to constantly check the pole to make sure every screw is tight and no adjustments need to be made. Well, when you tighten the pole several times, the plastic pieces break apart leaving it unsturdy and unable to return to static mode. I had the Electrapole for a month before this happened. The Electrapole is okay for beginners, but my recommendation is to go with a different type.

i have been a professional pole dancer for 6 years, im fit and i know what im doing. this pole is dangerous as far as doing tricks on it. to keep it up and not have it untwist, i had to jb weld the inside of it and bolt it to the floor and roof. if you dont do that be careful. your just buying the name and its not a very good one at that. xpole is really good...
