mounted mid height in room or from ceiling. My personel favorite position is on a table middle of a wall, in front of a mirror. This casts large ammounts of light with good color.

Overall good price for product. However the disco light does not expand to light up a very big area. If it is for a small room it will be great! But a good product for the cost.

its an ok item... but dont plan on using it for a big room... best probably for a bedroom or a dorm room... probably better off with a bigger and brighter one... oh and one last thing, it rotates kinda slow... hope this helps!

It's nice for smaller rooms. I would need to get two just to cover my living room. Would be nice to add two more LED 'spotlight' on the other two corners to brighten it up a little.

At first, I thought it was a little disappointing. It seemed small and didn't light up the room as much as I hoped it would. But, I played around with putting it in different spots and I was pleasantly satisfied..
Keep this high up or hanging in the middle of a dark room for the best effect. I hung it upside down from the ceiling and that worked very nicely (there is a wire handle on the bottom so it can be hung from somewhere). Also, be sure to adjust the spotlights so they shine fully off the ball. It also looks nice with a blacklight or even a simple colored light bulb (I had red, very nice). The spotlights have red, blue, and green LED's. The 4 LED's on the base are red and blue.
Put it in a safe place, it seemed a bit delicate, and the ball seemed to struggle a bit when shaken. Also, the cord could have been longer. Hanging it from the ceiling, I needed an extension cord to reach the outlet near the floor right below. I also wish there were 2 more spotlights on the other two sides of the ball because the other sides of the room were noticeably more lit up.
