Giving it to my son because it's cool to look at and makes "lightning" when touched. However, went to store and was told none of them are sound responsive as advertised.

i had bought a sound responsive plasma ball many years ago from radio shack the mic that would pick up sound was built in the face of the base it worked all of the time and the base was made of thicker plastic ,not like yours cheap plastic bottom your mic is built facing the bottom, so it does not pick up sound unles directly on top of a speaker, and to pick up my voice i have to be real close to my mouth,so the auto responsive does not work, i will keep them but will not advise no one to buy these products from you unless you can redesign the plasma light, i am very disatified and i bought two of them
if you have a good sound system turn it on sound and listen to dubstep beats
it is very cool you can play with it for hous and your freinds will wonder how it works very entertaining
Overall a nice product for the price. However, the globe feels somewhat flimsy. The microphone (for sound responsiveness) is on the bottom and is not very responsive. It only responds if I tap on the bottom. It doesn't even pick up the sound from my electric guitar amp in the same room.

The product was great and it entertained me.. and friends. It lasted quite awhile.. until it fell and shattered into a thousand peices. So its fragile. But otherwise its a great product and can entertain most people. Its electric thingys are fun to watch and people are tempted to touch it :) but be careful.. touch metal after touching that, and you get a little shock haha.
Plasma balls are simply a great novelty product that is much safer than a "Jacobs Ladder"! The grandkids love it, and it intrigues the parents as well. Great gift!
