ok so the light bulbs are really hard to find in the correct wattage because ge stopped making them.... and the stores usually only carry 3 or 4 at a time!!! So stock up on them!!!

Oh it's easy to change the bulb, If you ever find one at any other store with enough watts to get it going! I bought this lamp and it's really nice, but the bulb flunked out really quick and I haven't been able to get a replacement anywhere with enough watts to get the lava going..So beware, if you get this lamp, be sure to get a replacement were you purchase it..

Amazing lava lamp! HUGE!! Over 27inches long. Lookes new every time! I have it in front of my window and it catches alot of attention!

I bought this product from my local spencer's store. It was hiding on the rafters and my gf noticed the beast. I was giddy and purchased this mega lava lamp. When I got it home however,(and after waiting 3+ hours to get it fully working) there were scratches on the interior of the lamp from the metal coil. While in storage/being moved from place to place carelessly in store, the metal scratched up the inside of the glass. It made the whole experience aggravating. It requires alot of space to be used and gets really hot when fully on. Its a great center piece however and a great conversation starter to any apartment or house party. It weighs about 15 to 20 pounds. I recommend this product to anyone who has the time and space to appreciate this 8th wonder of the world. Buyer beware of the interior scratches though, its a real mood killer for lava enthusiasts.
