Membership

the Underground program Membership ("Membership") is open to U.S. (excluding U.S. territories) and Canada residents of at least 13 years of age. Enrollment into the Underground is free. By joining the program, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age or older. By using this program, you agree to the terms and conditions of the program. Your Membership is nontransferable and is subject to present and future program rules. Your Membership is valid only at participating Spencer's retail store locations and at SpencersOnline.com. Your Membership begins upon activation in store or online, on the day of enrollment.

Employees of Spencer Gifts, LLC ("Spencer's"), its affiliates and subsidiaries, and others who are eligible for employee-based discounts or members of any corporate or industrial account of Spencer's are not eligible for Membership in the Underground.

Earn Points

  • As a Member of the Underground, you will earn points for every $1 you spend on merchandise at Spencer’s or SpencersOnline.com.
    • Members who spend $99.99 or less annually will be a member of the Front Row Membership level of the Underground.
    • Members who spend $100 or more per year will be invited to advance to the Backstage Membership level. Upon your acceptance to the Backstage Membership level you will earn 2 Points for every $1 you spend on merchandise.
  • Earn additional Points through special offers and promotions.
  • You can earn Points for purchases by providing your Membership Key tag, Membership Card, Member ID or Email address at the time of purchase.
  • Points will post to your account approximately 48 hours from in-store purchase or date of shipment.
  • Points calculations are based upon dollars spent at checkout on eligible purchases less any amount spent on Non-Qualifying Items (see “Non-Qualifying Items" below).
  • When products are returned to the store or by mail, Points will be deducted from your account for that purchase/return.
  • Membership Cards, Key Tags, Points and Coupons have no cash value and are nontransferable.
  • Points will expire if not redeemed within 365 days from the date points are issued.
  • Spencer's is not responsible for communications, including Rewards, lost due to change of email address or other contact information.
  • Other restrictions or exclusions may apply.

Get Rewards

  1. Rewards Definition
    • Rewards are coupons used solely for discounts off future in-store or online purchases.
    • For every 50 Points you earn in the Underground you will receive a $5 discount off your future purchase of any eligible products in store or at SpencersOnline.com.
  2. Request Your Rewards
    • To redeem your Rewards you must request this option at www.SpencersUnderground.com.
    • A Rewards Coupon will be sent to you by email approximately 48 hours after you request to redeem your Points.
  3. Redeem Rewards
    • INSTORE: To receive your discount in store, you must print your Rewards and bring it to a Spencer’s store.
    • ONLINE: To receive your discount online, you must enter your Rewards number at the point of purchase.
  4. Redemption Rules
    • Rewards may only be redeemed for a discount off purchase amounts equal to or greater than the amount of the sum of the Rewards excluding tax.
    • Rewards may be used in conjunction with most other discounts or offers toward the purchase of products not to exceed purchase amount, unless otherwise indicated.
    • You can redeem multiple Rewards on a single transaction in store and at SpencersOnline.com.
    • Rewards are good for one-time use only. Rewards must be surrendered at the time of redemption in store.
    • Fifty (50) Points are automatically deducted from your account for every $5 in Rewards value issued to you
    • Lost, stolen or expired Rewards will not be replaced.
    • Spencer's is not responsible for communications, including Rewards, lost due to change of address or changes in other contact information.
    • Rewards are not transferable, may not be reproduced, and any Rewards lost or stolen will not be replaced.
    • Rewards are not valid toward previously purchased merchandise or the purchase of merchandise Coupons or Spencer’s Gift Cards.
    • Rewards are not redeemable for cash.
    • Other restrictions or exclusions may apply.
  5. Rewards Expiration
    • Unless noted otherwise on the Rewards coupon, Rewards will expire if not redeemed within 30 days from the date it is issued.
  6. Rewards Value
    • Rewards have no cash value and no change will be given for Rewards redemption. You may be notified of additional ineligible products and services.

Non-Qualifying Items

Points will not be earned for the following: instant rebates and the value of mail-in rebates on purchases, Spencer's Gift Card purchases, purchases paid by Rewards (you will not earn Points for the value of the Rewards), sales tax, state fees, shipping charges, delivery charges, other excluded charges, and certain items that are excluded in particular promotions. Other exclusions may apply.

Membership Cancellation, Modification, Expiration and Termination

  • You may cancel your Membership at any time by notifying Member Services by mail, e-mail or telephone. Cancellation may take up to 48 hours to finalize.
  • Spencer’s may, at its sole discretion, terminate, alter, limit, or modify program rules, regulations, Points earning structure, Rewards, Rewards levels, or any feature of the program at any time, without notice or further obligations to members.
  • Membership is limited to residents of the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico who are 13 years of age and older.
  • To remain in the Backstage membership level you must purchase $100 or more in a 12-month period. If you do not purchase $100 in a 12-month period, you will be placed in the Front Row membership level.
  • Corporations, groups and other entities are not eligible to become members or to earn Points or Rewards.
  • Spencer’s reserves the right to void the Underground member accounts and Rewards to any person(s) who have wrongfully earned Points or Rewards via deception, forgery or other abuses of the Underground membership.
  • There may be only one membership account per person.
  • Spencer's reserves the right to terminate your membership, in its sole discretion.
