How do I choose the correct body jewelry?

  • Check out our Jewelry Guide to choose the right piece of body jewelry for you.
  • Understanding the type of jewelry you need:
    • Different types of jewelry can be used on different parts of the body. Spencer's carries a wide range of gauges, however not all gauges may be available in our assortment.
  • Determining the best size for you:
    • You may or may not know your jewelry size by gauge or millimeter. All Body Rage Jewelry is produced using the SAME specifications and guidelines. Use our Jewelry Guide for sizing details.
  • Materials used:
    • The two most common materials used in our assortment are surgical steel and acrylic.

How do I properly take care of my lava lamp?

The following tips will ensure that your lava lamp has a long and healthy life.
  • Have the lava lamp at room temperature before starting.
  • Operate the lava lamp on a flat and stationary surface.
  • Allow the lava lamp to warm up for four to six hours to ensure it operates at its optimal level.
  • Optima lava flow is achieved after 5 or 6 uses.
  • Colors brighten after every use
  • Keep from constant movement; avoid shaking

How should I clean my new body jewelry?

  • The best way to clean jewelry is to use antibacterial soap and water.
  • DO NOT USE ALCOHOL or anything similar! It can ruin your jewelry by melting the acrylic or discoloring it.
    • Be careful with gold items as they can easily tarnish in alcohol or peroxides. Tarnished gold can sometimes turn body jewelry black when worn.
  • Remember to clean it again before it goes back into your piercing!

If an item is out of stock, can I still buy it?

  • If an item isn't available online, then check out our store locations! We also continue to restock our items so please check back with us online.

How do I Pre-Order an item?

  • Some out of stock items are available for Pre-Order and are noted as such on the product detail page, along with their estimated in-stock date. Just add the product you want to pre-order to your cart and check out as usual. We will ship the item to you when the pre-order item becomes available. Your credit card will not be charged until your order actually ships.
  • Please Note:
    • Orders may ship out before the estimated in-stock date if the product becomes available sooner than expected.
    • Expiration Date of the credit card used for the pre-order must be later than the estimated in-stock date of the item.
    • Shipping charges will be based on shipping rates at the time the order is placed.
    • Your credit card will not be charged until the item is shipped. The Pre-Order option is only available on selected products on a first come first serve basis.
    • The Estimated In-Stock Date listed on the product detail page is only an approximate date and is not guaranteed. Products may occasionally become available later than the posted date due to unforeseen circumstances.

I'm not comfortable buying online. Can I buy from Spencer's in a different way?

  • We want your shopping experience to be easy and comfortable, so if you prefer not to order an item online, call us directly to place an order. Just select the item(s) you wish to purchase and give us a call at 1-800-762-0419.

Was my online order placed?

  • If you did not receive an order confirmation page and/or confirmation email, then your order did not go through.
  • Please review the following information when placing your order:
    • Billing address matches the card being used
    • Name is entered as it appears on the card
    • Credit/debit card is valid and has not expired
    • APO/FPO address isn't marked as PO Box
    • Punctuation and spelling is correct
  • Though your order wasn't placed, you may see a hold on your bank account.
    • When placing online orders, if the information provided during checkout doesn't match the information on the credit/debit card being used, then the order will not be processed. Your bank may hold the funds as unavailable until the authorization expires. This hold will typically be released in 2-3 business days (Monday-Friday excluding holidays). These funds will not be available during that time. Please contact your bank if you have any further questions.

What forms of payment does SpencersOnline.com accept?

  • We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card or American Express and Spencer's Gift Cards. You may also use check cards or debit cards, as long as they are connected with one of the major credit card companies listed above. We do not accept personal checks, money orders, or cash.
  • Spencersonline.com is happy to accept PayPal for purchases made on our site. With PayPal you make purchases without revealing your credit card number or financial information. You can choose to pay for your Spencersonline.com purchase using your PayPal account instead of your credit card or check/ATM card. Click here to visit PayPal for more information.

Why was I charged if my order wasn't placed?

  • When placing online orders, if the information provided during checkout doesn't match the information on the credit/debit card being used, then the order will not be processed. Your bank may hold the funds as unavailable until the authorization expires. This hold will typically be released in 2-3 business days (Monday-Friday excluding holidays). These funds will not be available during that time. Please contact your bank if you have any further questions.

Why was my credit/debit card charged multiple times?

  • If you pay for your order with a credit/debit card, your account will show two entries at the same time, an authorization and the final sale. The authorization hold will fall off within 7-10 business days (Monday-Friday excluding holidays), depending on your bank's policies. This hold allows us to verify that funds are available, so that we can begin processing your order. Unfortunately, with a debit card, the pre-authorization hold and final charge aren't combined into one single transaction.
  • Should you choose to use your debit card or any card linked to your checking account, the amount of your purchase will be charged to your account immediately. The funds reserved for your order may be held by the bank, even though the transaction has not been finalized. The actual length of the hold is determined by your bank and is outside of our control. However, most holds are released within 2-3- business days (Monday-Friday excluding holidays). Since debit cards are linked to cash accounts, changes or adjustments to your order can result in multiple pending transactions on your account. We do not assume responsibility for loss or inconvenience due to held funds.

Do you accept split payments?

  • Yes! We accept split payments of a Spencer's Gift Card in addition to a credit/debit card for payment. During checkout please enter the gift card information first. Once you enter your full Spencer's Gift Card number, which is located on the back on the card, click "Add Spencer's Gift Card." Then, you will be able to enter your credit/debit card information to pay for the remaining balance.
  • We cannot accept or apply multiple Spencer's Gift Card(s) for a single online order at this point. You may combine the funds from multiple Spencer's Gift Cards onto a single Spencer's Gift Card at your local Spencer's store for online use.

How do I place an order with a non-Spencers gift card?

  • When using your Visa, Amex or other bank issued gift cards to make your online purchase, you need to call the merchant/financial institution that issued the card or go to their website and add your name and address to the card. This will ensure that when you use the card online, the name and address you provide to the merchant for the billing information will match the name and address on file for the card. Once you have registered your card, you can use it online just like you would use a regular credit card.

Can I cancel my order?

  • Our first priority is to ensure that your items are shipped in a timely manner. When an order is placed with Spencer's Online and all of the billing and shipping information has been verified, the order is immediately transmitted to our warehouse for processing. For this reason, we are unable to modify or cancel your order once it has been submitted.

Will my order ship in discreet packaging?

  • For your privacy, all of our items are shipped in discreet, unmarked envelopes or boxes, with only the Spencer's name and mailing address on it.
