I bought this product to replace an identical one that had finally wore out. Love the lamp, but disappointed in the contast between the blue liquid and the white lava. Very dull and foggy compared to my original one. Be careful to place the lamp where the sunshine will not be directly on it!

I am extremely disappointed that neither of the lava lamps I ordered from Spencer's works! Now I have to spend my time repackaging them and sending them back and starting from scratch as far as ordering new ones. My daughters are completely bummed as these were birthday gifts for their new rooms. We won't be ordering from Spencer's again!

We love the lava lamp in our newly renovated mid century mod vegas style lounge. We have a 1838 colonial that we converted the basement into a lounge. The lava lamp is a great addition.

It is very relaxing to watch helps you relax, soothing for your eyes.It made me sleepy just watching it if anyone has trouble falling asleep turn this on maybe one can use a surge protector and put a automatic timer so it will turn off set it for 8 hours you won't need pills to sleep save your money this is a great product. This was a great gift for my friend who has "everything". He says he has trouble falling asleep at night and has purchased sound machines, etc. The lava lamp has helped him! I didn't expect it to be theraputic, but apparently it is. It's also an attractive addition to his new house.

I got my Lava Lamp from Spencer's 11 years ago (1999) and it's still going strong! It has been through moves all across the state, in and out of dorms, apartments, from desks to bookshelves, and it still works like the day I got it. I don't use it every day, but it still gets used. I'm on the 2nd light bulb (only!!), it makes a great nightlight and an awesome gift. I'm looking to buy one as a gift for someone but I'm concerned about how the quality has changed since the '90s. From the looks of things it seems Spencer's still has the best product out there!

Ordered lava lamp for son's birthday. He loves it and I was pleased with the quality of the lamp. He uses it in his game room for "mood/accent lighting" and we all find it entertaining. I would recommend this very affordable lamp.

I got the last black wax with orange liquid lava lamp it seems, i cant find anymore, anywhere. got it cheep because it was the floor model and it still works great! just wish there were more colors to choose from because i want more!

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT IN THE LIME GREEN WITH CLEAR LIQUID ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND IT STILL WORKS GREAT.SPENCER'S HAS I THINK THE BEST DEAL ON LAVA LAMPS.WHEN I BOUGHT THE SMALLER LAVA LAMPS I'VE HAD NO LUCK WITH THEM THEY ALL GO BAD WITHIN A FEW MONTHS. I bought two Lava Lamps of different colors for my kids. They work perfectly, look very cool, don't take long to heat, and create interesting patterns. One lamp took two days before it would react the way the other does. Before purchasing, I read a lot of negative reviews of the smaller, lower cost lava lamps, and prefer to spend just a little more, for a product that we would be happy with.

I ordered 2 of the same lava lamps from Spencer's website. When the box arrived it was damaged and one of the lava lamp boxes was laying half way out the box. The lava lamp box itself was damaged as well and when I tested it, it did not work. I took it back to a store by my house and they exchanged it without any problems. Next time I will just go into the store instead of purchasing online.

Had a rocky start getting a lava lamp that worked first 2 red and clear liquid lamps i picked up were disconnected from the coil. But the lady that works at my Spencers was great and kept exchanging my lamp until i got one that worked. With that kind of customer service i will definately be back. Oh and another thing they come with clear 40 watt appliance bulbs if you get a frosted or white bulb they wont overheat as bad. That ended up being the problem on my first two too much heat.
